new member needing help

Post by cskarb »

Hi from the uk ive just brought my first largo which is a 1996 fitted with a cd20eti engine unfortunatly cambelt snapped on way home from picking it up ive just replaced the head with new gasket and new water pump.i got a new cam belt but it doesnt have any timing lines on it but after reading information on internet I believe it should be 43 teeth from camshaft mark to crankshaft mark is this correct also how do u do timing on injection pump ive fitted pump belt 36 teeth apart but I cant get the largo to fire up so any help would be much appreciated as I have been searching internet but cant find any consistent advice on correct timing because have seen some say 41 teeth on and cambelt and others 43 thanks gary
