Hi I have a problem with my gearbox sometimes it will not change gear at the correct time I have done the test with the wire and changed the oil . I was reading online the gearbox has a filter .i was also reading the nissan frontier shares the same gearbox along with some more nissan,s.
I have found a nissan frontier gasket and filter for the gearbox on eBay about £22.00 has anyone ever changed this filter? There seem to be a lot of posts on many websites that all recommend changing the oil or doing the test on the ecu with the wire but have not yet found anyone who has changed the gearbox filter . It makes sense to change the filter if it has one and if you have a problem with the box it could be a cheap fix .
