New Largo owner from Ireland.

Hi all, just a quick hello and introduction. My name is Greg, living in Co. Wexford in Ireland and starting my second week as a Largo 2.0td owner. I am slowly falling in love with the thing, well, when it doesn't stall on take off that is. My five year old son loves it anyway.

Anyway... I hate intros on forums so I'll shut up now.

I borrowed the wheels off my drift car to try them on the Largo. I reckon they suit it, and would be a million times better looking if the Largo got a good slap of the lowering stick. Does anybody sell coilovers for a Largo? It could look like this then.

lowering kits come in 2 sizes, 55mm drop and the rarer 35mm drop. You should be able to get a secont hand kit for less than 100. They do look better when lowered and a nice set of wheels on. The only problem with that is the ride gets a bit harsh.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Dropping it and putting them wheels on is Deffo a plan. I've always wondered if largo springs are the same as something else seeing as Nissan used parts from other models. I may have some rear linkbar extenders to lower the rear.

Thanks for the welcomes. I'm not overly concerned about ride comfort because as it is, it is far too bouncy compared to what I am used to.

@gdub - Enniscorthy is only down the road from me, so you never know.

@ N.r.g. - I want to sort out the stalling issue before I get stuck into lowering the thing. Today I cleaned the air separator and installed a new fuel pump, but it still stalls when I put it into reverse. It goes ok if I apply some throttle, but it's hard to get used to having no clutch to control the revs, and I've taken to left foot braking to try help.

Hi and welcome to the club.

Check the gear box oil. Should be cherry red and not brown in colour. Also check the level.
Stalling could be caused by a dodgy sensor. Check the crankshaft sensor. You can code read the Largo with a piece of wire.
