Newbie...have a few Q's

Post by KiwiCanary »

Am now living in NZ and picked up a cheapo Largo for $3k nz to take some visiting family on a tiki tour this crimbo. The Largo is a bit ruff'n'ready but all good. Anyone know where tha power steering fluid is? And wtf is overdrive, also what should i use for coolant!!!

Japanese manual a pain !

Left hand side of centre consul has a panel, it pulls off & your PS top up is there.

Welcome to the site. Overdrive activates 4th gear and some other nice features such as lockdown on the torque converter. When this is off you will get a light on the dash to indicate it's off. It's best to leave on. Handy for dropping down the gear for steep declines.

Coolant use normal water with a good amount of antifreeze. The Largo holds a lot of water and I think it's about 8 litres. May be wrong.
