hi guys, still not found the problem! not having an engine under the bonnet is a bit new to us ! lol not sure how to get to this switch/connector that everyones talking about! can you please explain in a language that a dummy can understand? :doh: :oops: thanks

If you look at center console where cup holders are the is 2 screws and 2 more in the compartment behind.
Once they have been removed put it into 1st gear and then you can lift the center console out over the gear stick. You can then lift the carpet from passenger side to see if they are unplugged. Saves taking the drivers seat out aswell

also remove ciggy power /snow panel there is two screws in there also pull off panel to left of gearshift and find a screw in there aswell as power steering bottle under a wing nut

Thats probably where the creaky noise comes from by my cig lighter. I've never removed any screws there

just remember if the above does not work then you need to look also at the under engine cooling fan and make sure all wires/plugs are connected

hi guys, thanks to all your replies. been under the centre console cant find any thing thats unconnected, however the other day the car stalled, when we started the engine again the lights had gone off only to come back on the next time we started the engine!! i have noticed there have been previous posts about the stalling, it still does that now and again! still investigating! lol so any more suggestions on either probs would be greatly appreciated. other than that, car drives well :dance: up to now! :pray: providing everythings ok with the car happie we were thinking of having cambelt done in the near future. does anyone know how much this would cost approx?

Change oil pressure switch its on drivers side of engine right next to oil filter bit of sod to get to so best remove drivers seat and panel
