Re: oil light on
If you look at center console where cup holders are the is 2 screws and 2 more in the compartment behind.
Once they have been removed put it into 1st gear and then you can lift the center console out over the gear stick. You can then lift the carpet from passenger side to see if they are unplugged. Saves taking the drivers seat out aswell

Re: oil light on
Thats probably where the creaky noise comes from by my cig lighter. I've never removed any screws there

Re: oil light on
just remember if the above does not work then you need to look also at the under engine cooling fan and make sure all wires/plugs are connected

Suggestion that the people you took it to were poorly trained monkeys that couldn't plug stuff back together that they disconnected.

Re: oil light on
hi guys, thanks to all your replies. been under the centre console cant find any thing thats unconnected, however the other day the car stalled, when we started the engine again the lights had gone off only to come back on the next time we started the engine!! i have noticed there have been previous posts about the stalling, it still does that now and again! still investigating! lol so any more suggestions on either probs would be greatly appreciated. other than that, car drives well up to now! providing everythings ok with the car we were thinking of having cambelt done in the near future. does anyone know how much this would cost approx?
