There's a sound plan, I could run up it to the cab somewhere, I suppose.

Just quickly, and to report back.

So I did the resistor mod (470k) and things improved greatly, it would still tend to stall - especially maneuvering when coldish. Lived with it for a while, no particular urge to get cold and wet working on it outside during the winter.

Just changed the resistor for a 270k.... and ZOOOOooommmm!!

Does a 3 point turn no bother at all.

Goes like a rocket.

I'm just going to pop out to Motorworld for one of those stick-on "GTi" badges
