Cooling system.

Post by onyerbikeuk »

Hi I just Got a largo camper conversion. It drives we, the engine runs fine and performance seems to be normal. Unfortunately I can't seem to bleed the cooling system. It constantly bubbles away in the header tank. I am filling it via the pipe next to the header and bleeding the front matrix via the bung between the heater pipes. Am I missing something?

Did this tonight. Couldn't get the bung off the rear matrix so going to cut the clip off it. Did everything else though. The cooling system pressurises to about 15 psi within 30 seconds of starting but there is no other evidence of head gasket failure. Tested it for combustion gasses and none present. Really getting on my nerves.

If it's pressurising then it must be getting that pressure from the engine. It wont pressurise that much with heat that quick.
