Hi folks,
I've been looking to get a 4wd camper van for a while now but I thought they were all more than my budget would allow. I recently stumbled on a Nissan Largo 4wd diesel and have since seen quite a few more. I've now decided this is the vehicle I've been looking for. Obviously I will need to convert it myself but glad to have found a base vehicle in my price range.
I'm hopefully going to look at one next weekend. Anything in particular I need to watch out for? How hard/easy are they to work on? The other half is quite handy with the spanners but I do have a good mechanic who's used to nursing my Subarus so hoping he'll be able to assist with anything complex.
How are they for getting spares? Is there a UK equivalent vehicle that you can ask dealers or motor factors for suitable parts?
Thanks for the add

Re: Hello
Spares not getting any easier except for the usual service items, more exotic items can be hard to source. There are some common faults esp. in the diesel so have a read through the help section - I have a petrol so not too well versed with the oil burning variety:-)
