çant get to run over 2000
I have a 1998 diesel I have just free,d up turbo cleaned injectors replaced glow plugs starts well and idles when you try to rev when it gets to around 2000 to 3000 revs it seems like it strarves for fuel and smoke belows out exorst pipe can any1 help please I'm out of money and need it running for work

Have you cleaned air splitter under passenger seat and egr valve

Poss fuel pump timing belt slack or check you air filter

2wd with 7 spoke alloys, replacement speakers and sub in the boot. Awaiting repair after crashing it. :(
4wd also glass top with white alloys.
Can never have too many Largos!

It might be the fuel filter blocked. Check first the water trap at the bottom, drain a bit. Or run it from a jar of diesel and see if the same happens.
That aside check the fuel pump belt timing (36 teeth dot-to-dot).
When it smokes does it "miss" or is it just a smooth loss of power? Can you hear the turbo spin up?
Any flashing diagnostic light on the dash?

I had a fault like that car was in limp mode so I was told check engine temp sensor changed mine fixed the problem mine was okay on tick over the moment I went to accelerate revs bounced wouldn't go over 3000 revs it was sort of hunting on me
