new owner
Hi everyone, just thought i would introduce myself and my new largo.
Had a largo a few years back and have always regretted getting rid so i have just bought another as my family is growing again.
Bought this one few days ago which is newer than my older type that i had, please can anyone recommend and things that i need to do to it or any tips on what to do to get better mpg or power?
If anyone wants an alloy wheel swap let me know what you have as the ones that are on will not be staying on.

4wd also glass top with white alloys.
Can never have too many Largos!
Re: new owner
Nice looking Largo. What year is it?
If you're after alloys there's a nice looking set of 17" on the 'bay the moment

Nice. I guess the obvious things are cambelt and fuel pump belt, and checking the ATF is still red rather than brown.

Re: new owner
Yep what tony said, and as you're 4wd check all your tyres are the same size & aspect ratio before driving as more than 3% difference burns out the middle "diff" coupling. (I'm told 3% equates in real world terms to the difference between a brand new tyre and the same tyre on the legal wear limit) Also might be worth opening the passenger seat & taking out the diamond shaped plate with an "A" stamp and giving it a good clean as they get choked up and affect performance. If it's bad when you do it, look up the post "egr mod" by jimbob in the mods section (about halfway down the first page) how to disconnect the EGR valve or blank it off. This gets rid of the flat spot around 2200rpm & stops the a plate gunking up again.

Re: new owner
I'm not sure it really does affect performance, it's not the path the inlet air follows, only the EGR exhaust. Can't hurt to clean it though

Re: new owner
I don't know, mine seems to rev much cleaner just with it cleaned (the whole plenum was pretty choked up too though) but still had the flatspot until I killed the EGR with an M5 bolt to the throat lol

Re: new owner
Thanks for both of your comments, i will be doing the egr valve as i did this with a bypass on my old bmw engine and the increase was great and better on fuel.
could i just ask what the ATF is though??
Do either of you know where i can get some nice bumpers from that are not standard?
for your help.
