Just picked up nina after three months of hell! Different pump, ecu, new gasket, battery, full service, she runs beautiful quiet as a mouse!! So relieved!

Re: Newby help please
All sorts, there was oil bubbling up where there was no gasket, the pump wasn't timed right, maf sensor had a clean, as did the fuel quantity adjuster. New glow plugs, battery, ecu, pump! Had all relays, sensors and solenoids checked! Blimey the list is endless.

Re: Newby help please
Well I have found one extremely valuable piece of information, if you get a fuel pump you MUST use the ecu that's programmed to it otherwise it won't start, the engine searches and it cuts out whilst idling!

Re: Newby help please
It's the run off from the injectors not fuel filter?
