possibly a new largo owner

Post by diponio2 »

Hi all,
I have been looking at largo's for a while now I have found one that I might just buy, I have done the usual questions history rust work needed and done etc but I asked about cam belt change, she didn't know if it's belt or chain and to be honest I don't have a clue and was hoping someone might be able to help, it's a 1996 and the 2.4 auto
Thanks all

Ooh congrats - it'll be all the better for anticipation. Good luck on the pick up.

Info is a bit scarce on the Largos but the people here are knowledgeable and friendly. :)

Couldn't wait any longer so I went to get it today :) awesome machine love it but have noticed a few faults, front drop link's slapping about a bit and the power steering pump has a squeal everything else is good, I have found the drop links but am struggling to find the power steering pump, anyone know of any parts sites?

Squeal may just be low fluid or loose belt.
