Hi All!!
Just got a Highway star and need to source a rear silencer to quieten the beast down as it has a full flow stainless back box on at the moment.
Does anyone know if you can make any other type of unit fit instead of importing or having made as I dont mind tweaking something to fit

Hi and welcome, i would leave the one on you got, i am changing mine as the back box is falling apart internally it rattles when you set off lol, but a replacement can be sourced if you have a good exhaust and tyre shop, it will not be a Largo one but a good enough replacement .
Have a shop around, let them look at it and they will tell you what will fit, unless anyone on here has refitted a standard box, usually everyone put a stainless one on to last.

What type of tailpipe is on it? As if its a jap style 4 or 5 " round tip you can put an extra baffle in the tip and this will quiet things down. If not you could just slip a small silencer midway in the system
