exhaust needing repair/ parts

hallo, i have 1999 highway star 2.4 petrol with lpg conversion. the back half of the exhaust has gone. kwik fit cried foor a while then said that within a week i could get a new back half for 55o quid. just wondered if anyone new of a cheaper way to do this than to get genuine new parts. we live in soouth queensferry between fife and edinburgh

Yes there is, go to your local stainless steel exhaust fabricator and have a full system made for £400 Approx.

found a place not too far away reckon they can do me a custom stainless for about 450, and guaranteed for eternity
