coolant temp sensor code 13

hi there my name is charlie hoped someone could help me with this fault code 13 i am getting i have swopped sensor for 2nd hand one and still the same and also have code 21 could this be crank sensor ? many thanks i look forward to any help i may get

Hi. Welcome to the Forums

There are two sensors on the Diesel. If you have checked and changed one then check on the other. One feeds the ECU and the other feeds the temp gauge on the dash. This is the very top one and has just a single wire.

thanks i did that i found someone cut the fan wires and put them on the battery and have damage the ecu i think as soon as i start up fan come on and thanks again for your help
