Hi Trev. Welcome to the forums.

Most of the usual applies. Check for bad rust underneath, wheel arches, etc. Look around the bottom of the engine for oil leaks or water leaks. Test drive it at least until the temp gauge hits about midway and stays there hopefully.

Most Largo's are great and well looked after but you do get some badly looked after ones. Most problems are easily sorted if your handy with a spanner.

Check for any oil or water leaks leaks as some of these can be very costly to repair. Also make sure every thing works including the aircon.
Check for any bangs, knocks etc when going over bumps. Whilst these are normally cheap and easy to fix may show signs of lack of servicing.

I seem to get a strange noise from the back lately over humps, not all the time but definitely a new noise - thought it was tools in the boot but now I'm not so sure :?:
