hi everyone, im a largo highway star owner in the Bahamas, recently I hit a deep pothole, since then a knocking started occurring on the front passenger side(not really quite sure, still figuring it out where its coming where..)every time i hit even the smallest of potholes..i checked the front wheels and saw the bar(sorry, i dont know the parts name) that steers both wheels have rubbers on it, and the rubber on the passenger side is ripped, exposing the shiny part of the bar..
is this the cause? does anyone has any idea whats causing the knock and what solution can be applied?
any help is appreciated..THANKs

welcome! lucky you living in the Bahamas:) sounds like you might have knackered your track rods, could also be the suspension on that side. best bet would be to get a local garage take a proper look...suppose it might also be the front droplinks? good luck with it:)

Or roll bar bushes which are very common to go on these.

THANK you all for the quick help, got the time to check it again today, seems that the bottom bushing on the left stabilizer link bar had worn and fell off when i hit that deep pothole.
can i change the bushes by myself?i mean DIY? if i can, what will be the proper way in doing so?
THANKS again!

Re: hello..newbie here need help..
you can do them yourself - maybe someone who has done it before can give instructions as I haven't done this job myself.

could try a youtube guide like this one(not a largo I know but might give you an idea) think the poly bushes are split to make them easier to fit.
