New member, looking for a Largo.

Post by Nigel2sheds »

Hello, I'm Nigel and I'm thinking about getting a Largo, I can see that theres a few to choose from on Ebay ,OK, they look nice but are they reliable ? what's best petrol or Diesel ? what sort of fuel consumption is average ? vehicle tax ? what insurance bracket ?2 of 4 wheel drive? any regular faults bad points to look out for ?... sorry so many questions. I'm 52 , clean licence, and drive an HGV , any info would be useful , thanks in advance .
I have around 5k to spend .

Thanks for all the replies , well I bit the bullet and put a deposit down on one today, 98' facelift, 2.4 petrol, 60k ,beautiful unmarked condition. Now being knocked sideways by the insurance quotes ! £675 comp.£480tpft ! seems a bit steep ?
