New owner hopefully, few questions.

Hi all, new member, and hopefully soon proud owner of 2.4 petrol highway star, however, before I actually part with the cash I have a few questions.
While looking around the car today it was obvious the side door handle was broken, are these an easy part to find?, few scratches as to be expected of the body work but all nice and straight, engine purred nicely but seemed quite noisy?, I understand engine is pretty much in the cabin with me so expect some noise.
Chiming/bleeping?, after starting g there was a constant quick chiming/bleeping, any ideas?, the car also had 2 remotes, and a slot for one to sit in alongside the radio, what is this remote for?, it has a kind of toggle knob at the top?, also what would the other remote be for?.
The vehicle also has an Ariel on the inside side window around 6" long?.
Really keen to get the largo but have a few doubts
Ideally wanted diesel but not many in my area, is the 2.4 petrol very thirsty?.
Average mpg?
Anything I should look for when I go back later in the week?
Thanks very much for any replies.
Hopefully soon be on board with a largo
