Had tons of fun in my van but yesterday she refused to start up turned the key all the normal light came on but nothing happened not even a click just exhaust overheat light come on ,any idea what could be wrong.
Any help will be great.

Have you tried giving your starter motor a couple of hits with a hammer.

Hi,
Yes I tried it but no luck I am not sure if it the stater motor as there is no power reaching it could it be the gear selector switch fitted under the car WITH gearbox.
Thanks

Certainly true that you can't start it without it being in park or neutral. Could be that gear selector.
Thinking about it, that would be a cracking way to fit an immobiliser to the Largo.

Hi,
I got her started yesterday by fiddling with the fuses inside the car under the dash but she won't start again today Spent hours trying to look for the fault but no joy.
Are there any ignition fuses or relays other then in front fuse boxes and the inside box.
Thanks

I had the same fault showing on mine three weeks ago. It is the starter motor thats gone and causing the problem, it shows the exhaust sensor as the issue on the dash but its not!!. Just whip it off and take to someone who can recon it, should only cost about £40.

Hi,
I by passed the starter motor today and it worked so I know now starter works fine ,I think may be there some problem with the van alarm( cobra) immobiliser where it is not letting power to starter or it's gear selector switch it's one of them.
could there be anything else, anyone.
Thanks

It could be starter relay under bonnet on left
