Nissan Largo Friends

Hiya everyone!!

Just got my largo yesterday.... Have loved them for as long as I can remember but only just had the opportunity to be the proud owner of an SX-G

She's beautiful - but not as beautiful as she's gonna be....

Anyway... To start with I would like some advice on where I can get a stereo surround to put my stereo in. I have popped to halfords but as she's jap there isn't much info they have for which part I need. I am after the plastic stereo surround that has a bit for the stereo at the top and a shelf type jobby in the bottom....!! (Hope people understand what I mean)
Any advice would be warmly welcomed.

Ah.... Also.... Is the only way to change a rear light bulb, to take the entire light unit off the back?

Hi there hello and welcome along to the forum.
the stereo is fixed behind the wood effect dash with a double fix bracket that houses the standard stereo and the little cuddy box, most of us put in a double din DVD player,(mines just died after owning it for over 5 years and been in two largos) but a normal stereo will fit in its place with the cuddy fitted as well as now i am using a x-plod mask head unit in mine, there is a search on the forum look to take out the dash front and replace it as you prefer good luck with your choice of fittment and enjoy..

We don't have the walnut... Just plastic....

you need to take out the centre console and then the capping's on the steering wheel column and then there is a few screws around the outer edge of the plastic, mines plastic but brown wood effect looking, lol the switches all unplug as do the two sets under the centre console it is a bit long winded at first but once you get the hang of it it will be apparent and easy to do the steering wheel will move out the way on the adjuster be careful not to pull to hard at the front where it catches or you will split it , take your time and it will be ok.
