Hi all
Currently on the lookout for a largo as the family runabout. Watching a few to look at over the next couple of weeks, probably a diesel. Any tips appreciated.
Always been a jap fan, owned my fair share and have my own Nissan track project underway! This will be a little more sensible but hopeful usual jap fun and quality.
Cheers for now

Welcome along, Petrol would be a better bet on the Largo to be honest, ask everyone on here the mpg is not that great between the pair and with petrol you can LPG it as well.( plus the petrol is a lot faster )

Hi and welcome to the club.
Both the petrol and the diesel you will get around 28mpg mark as an average. It does vary depending on servicing. Can be as low as 22mpg around town but can be as high as 32-35mpg on motorway drives. If your right foot don't have the same characteristics as a brick

Thanks guys, really helpful already.
Interesting the petrol returns similar mpg, had assumed diesel would of been the way to go with size & weight. Gives me an extra couple to look at
I will get reading!

Well picked up a new largo last week....... plenty to do!
It was a cheap and needs work but I do like a challenge! Ended up with a 2ltr diesel, RWD.
Will post with pics soon, so far have been removing the side strips, badges and generally cleaning it up. Filter change and belt check this weekend and look at having a go at the coolant flush as seems to have air lock, seems a common problem.
Plenty of good tips on the forum so thanks all!
