hi there my name is charlie wondered if anyone could help me out do you know if you can swop engine ecu's as think mine is damaged as found some twat had cut the fan wiring and put them on battery to try and stop it overheating . I have fitted new engine swoped two pin sensor sorted the coolant pipes and thermostat runs great but fans start on start up unless i unplug them ? thanks i look forward to your help charlie . And one other thing my last largo had eight seats this one has seven is the three seats a straight swop for the two seats behide the fronts ? thanks again charlie

Fans have their own controller located behing the foot panel right of accelerator. Check the relays under the bonnet. The norm on these is to hot wire the relay to make fans on all the time.
You won't have damaged the main ecu that's for sure.
Seats are not a straight swap as the eight seater is on rails.

Also if your air con is on then I believe one fan will be on constantly.
