Hello everyone

We discovered our love of Largos quite by accident. Needing a vehicle which could suit our outward bounding, for sleeping, as well as transporting friends and tools/stuff, we happened upon one going up for breaking and couldnt let it be hacked to bits. New drop links, front shock and a "custom" exhaust system and we had a happy year.

Then out of the blue came a tap, by the time i got off the motorway it was more like clack-clack-clack...straight to quick fit to hear the bottom end was away. Gutted! No oil lights, nothing. bh

New engine changeover was looking at well over my budget, so we opted to expand into a fleet, at least until i get some time (and weather) to break the old largo after all.

I wish i could swap the roofs around on our largos. o love the sunroofs on our old one.

Some issues with this new largo..drop links away and heavy steering at low speeds. PSF dipstic says all good, but im incllined to think the fluid is not getting to where it is supposed to. Also fan belt came off and i had no brakes which was a bit alarming. Wow this vehicle realy demands a bit of stamina when changing things around eh!

I love it, though! More or less inside when working, instead of pearing under a bonnet.

Hope to have good engagement on this forum!

Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you've had quite the adventure.
I'd be inclined to swap power steering pumps over.

Hi and welcome to the club.

Would it be worth you changing the engine over to your old bus? If you wanted to you could buy a Primera CD20t like I did and get that put in. The block and head are the same. Just need to change over all the ancillaries. Bought my Primera CD20t off eBay for £300 delivered.
