Hi guys ive got a 1994 largo sx-g diesel 2wd ive had it for 3 months and can say its the best car weve ever had. I would like some advice on using it to tow a caravan ie whats the weight capacity and is there anything specifically i need to be careful of when towing for example overheating etc one more thing what size battery should the largo be using as im not sure that the guy i got mine from has the right one. Thanks and excuse my ignorance on all things largo. Im here to learn

What size battery have you got. You need about a 95AH battery with a min of 700CCA's. Didnt you get a hand book with the car that has towing weights for the car. Oh and welcome

Welcome to the happy brigade happie

Not sure of the towing weights but be careful as these things aren't too heavy and the diesel version tends to slow down quite a bit when it see's a hill let alone trying to pull a caravan up one :laughing-rolling:

As for battery size, I just went for the biggest one I could afford at the time as you really aren't restricted for space under the bonnet. On the plus side I sit my van for upto 10 days at a time and she starts no probs and I can run my stereo/DVD player for hours without recharging the battery :D
