Hi all just considering purchase of Largo never had one or even driven one. Just wondering what to look for as I tow 1500kg of caravan on a regular basis and need 4wd for the CL sites we tend to use. I will be looking through the posts, but if anyone tows with one and can pass on any tips that would be great. I am an engineer working on generators so have a good tool kit to hand, and was considering a petrol and running on gas ?.
Thanks Steve

Hi and welcome to the forum. You might want to be looking at 4wd petrol then, plenty of pulling power.

Hi and welcome.
Unless you'rte going for a fresh import, you need to get as much service history as possible. The biggest killer of older cars is lack of servicing. Also make sure everything works the way it should as new parts are hard to get and you may end up looking around breakers/ebay etc and having to wait for postage.
Best of luck in your search but double check what the towing capacity is on a Largo as these cars aren't that heavy for their size ;)

Thanks gents still doing my research and quite enjoying it, the Largo does not seem to be used for towing though both engines produce over 200lb ft of torque so should pull reasonable. The petrol producers 150 nearly horse power so should be quite nippy. my wifes jeep is used at the moment with 2 litre diesel which is ok but we need more room in rear.
Thanks again gents
