Just picked up nina after three months of hell! Different pump, ecu, new gasket, battery, full service, she runs beautiful quiet as a mouse!! So relieved!

All sorts, there was oil bubbling up where there was no gasket, the pump wasn't timed right, maf sensor had a clean, as did the fuel quantity adjuster. New glow plugs, battery, ecu, pump! Had all relays, sensors and solenoids checked! Blimey the list is endless.

Well I have found one extremely valuable piece of information, if you get a fuel pump you MUST use the ecu that's programmed to it otherwise it won't start, the engine searches and it cuts out whilst idling!

There is one on top of fuel filter housing,like wing nut in white plastic also fuel primer is there

It's the run off from the injectors not fuel filter?
