Quite a common issue the old low idle/cutting out, as said most likely the pump at fault (or at least the quantity adjuster on top)

I've yet to get my bus on the road properly but I feel on first impressions that it's going to be a staller as well, I'll be looking into the "hammer mod" if it's bad & see if that makes any difference. (although I think the low idle is unrelated to the stalling as mine seems to "surge" just before it stalls, the 3 times it's done it!)

Hi, I had a similar issue with a diesel Terrano, surging and cutting out instead of idling.
Turned out to be the crankshaft speed sensor. Nissan dealer replaced it for about $160 NZD. Cheers.
