Yes it does, the TCU uses the sensor to restrict full lockup until transmission is warmed up

I would change the atf remember you only get about 3L out per pan empty (rest is sitting in accumalator lines and the Torque converter). Normal procedure is check levels if it is correct temember should be done hot and after selecting all gears. Drain out the sump and put the same same amount back in asuming level was correct. Take for drive then repeat another 2 or 3 times. I would also change the filter that is under the transmission sump 18 or so bolts then about 4 or the actual filter. Note is it is normal for it not to select top gear until TX is warm.

Hi people have any body had the rattle when the engine is ticking over,well its more of jingle ,goes of when the revs goes up,pulling my hair out trying to find it.thanks

Hi Carole,
I could use a few bits if you're breaking. Mostly just interior parts - while the vehicle is quite tidy and original, it looks like a previous radio/ICE install was done by a blind woodsman...
