howay the lads

Post by banjohead »

I'm a geordie but now live in Devon. I bought my Nissan Largo Highway Star last June and generally very pleased with it - sometimes a problem getting spare parts. We also use our Largo as a campervan and wondered if any other members do this & whether they have made changes to make it more comfortable/versatile e.g fitting curtains or blinds. Looking forward to logging in to the forum.

Hello and welcome to the club.

There have been several people change their van to be more campervan than MPV. Lots of good projects.

All silver highway star glass roof 8 seater, lol, but i have a little damage to side door, previous owners wife took the garden fence with her on reversing in the driveway lol, pretty much standard bus had double din dvd player up untill recently when it died lol i was going to modify the whole bus inside and out do a custom job on her but my health and other projects and issues have taken over, so i'm considering getting rid of it cheap and maybe in the future when i get time and better buy another one to do, lol, oh and its a petrol 2.4.

Just Back from St Austal - Cornwall myself today, great week. I put a curtain behind the Pass/Drivers seats to give better privacy in the back a while back, there are some pics on here somewhere. Welcome along ;)

Thanks for your reply. I want to put up curtains throughout but curtain rail is expensive. So thought I would use curtain wires but not sure what sort of fixings to use to attach to the inner lining of the car. Any ideas? cheers
